Acmella oleracea is a species of flowering herb in the family Asteraceae. Common names include toothache plant, paracress, Sichuan buttons, buzz buttons, tingflowers and electric daisy. In Brazil it is called jambu. It’s been used in herbal medicine the leaves and flowers numb the mouth and are said to work better than many commercial products. Also has antibiotic, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties.
Easy to grow we recommend using organic compost and organic manure or liquid seaweed.

Starting Indoors/Outdoors: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Provide 70-75 degree soil temperature. Transplant 10-12″ apart.
